Caramelized Apple Crêpes Recipe

Ingredients :

  • Butter or oil for cooking the crêpes
  • 40 g of brown sugar
  • 2 apples
  • 30 g of salted butter for garnish
  • Powdered cinnamon
  • Pecans for decoration (optional)

Preparation:

To make  4 crêpes, it’s very simple: add water to Easy Crêpe mix , follow the detailed instructions on the back of the bag

(1 not very full cup of Easy Crêpe mix (116g )  + 1 cup of water)

On the other hand, peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Brown them over a good heat in a frying pan containing the hot butter. Add the brown sugar and caramelize quickly. Little by little, pour 25 ml of hot water into the pan, mixing gently, until you obtain a smooth  sauce; add the cinnamon. Let everything simmer for another minute.

Garnish the hot crêpes  with the apples and the pecans and serve immediately.
